So many things on my mind... Bewildered!
So many things I wanna puke out, things that make me sick...
So many secrets I wanna divulge, secrets! for your good...
So many sordid stories, stories that I never wanted to be privy to...
So many people feigning love, love that they dont even know what in essence is...
So many people with undeserved achievments, & that makes me feel good to have realised that i havn't achieved much yet...
So much generalization, people tending to generalize things to an extent that they start quoting there "sole experince" as FACT...
So many creatures throwing judgmental attitude... why are they unlearning the stupendous art of trying someone else's shoe at times???
So many hypocrites around... I am short of words for them so here is the dictionary definition.. "Hypocrite:- a person who feigns some desirable or publicly approved attitude, esp. one whose private life, opinions, or statements belie his or her public statements"....eeewwww...
Almost Everyone seeking truth, truth that (almost) none is having a heart to bear with
Almost everyone portraying there best possible image and forgetting what their true face is.
Almost everone trying to fit in the herd, herd where they dont even know the name of species constituting it...
Every second person believing that the world is left with just one and a half brain, one with him and rest half devided among the rest... I am no exception.
Bewildered!!! Yes I still am.

'Portraying their best possible image'....ofcourse they are, and why shouldnt they?..if thts not how they/we play it, we're all the same..same problems, same not-acting on advice, same telling the older ones abt ur manipulated hopes n dreams jst so u get the bigger ice cream than ur cousin who just wants to be a stupid writer, telling the younger ones abt the good ol' days when u drank 20 beers in one sitting without a burrp happily ommitting the morning-after misery, etc etc..
ReplyDeleteWe used to have this 'captain patch' in our school, right?..A tailor saving money and going to a town in a sailor's uniform..he marries the town's princess, who in the end turns out to be an impersonator herself!!..but they happily live ever after..
thts what matters in the end..
u know the one in front of u isnt perfect, but it'll all be easier if u look urself in the mirror n say 'neither am i'..
imagine ur sitting in a bus..a lady's sitting next to u..u have a habit of eating the yuck stuff from ur nose (its a common habit), n she has a knack of spitting out of the window frequently..all throughout the journey ur both tryin to justify in ur head why the other is ill-mannered while u come in the 'everybody has some flaw na, i atleast have small one..so what!' category..
Ah Pourush! I guess you didnt dive deep enough to get to the essence of that line. That was more of a personality mask than to a physical or behavioural mask.
ReplyDeleteIn that princess example the girl impersonated as a princess.. true... but remember she was acting like a princess as well... Thats not what I exactly meant by putting a face.
I was referring to those people who lie & cheat and then to overcome their guilt they preaching honesty in the public... those people who tries to adapt to particular behaviours just to fit in a group... those people who stays around specific group of people just to have a sense of belonging... and I personally think that unless you are at ease with yourself you cannot belong anywhere else, this pursuit of desperately finding a "place" somewhere will never end. I an only referring to INDIVIDUALITY.
For behaviour... I totally agree.. we need to adapt according to our surroundings... "Ganga gaye to gangaraam.. jamuna gaye to jamunaraam.."
